West Central Missouri IPMS created the George Redden Award to honor our good friend George Redden, who passed away in 2012. George's work was always creative and thought provoking, and his philosophy in modeling is the basis for the judging criteria of the award that proudly carries his name and continues his legacy. What I am looking for is originality and creativity, not necessarily technical perfection. Normal IPMS judging rules DO NOT apply to this award. So build something really different and interesting, whether scratch built, kit bashed, diaroma or whatever. Every entrant in the contest is eligible to win regardless of category or other awards won. The winner will be invited to help judge next year's candidates. So have some fun, build something that will really wow me, and you might take home a great trophy. Pictures of George and the award are included.
